Gold Canyon Candles beat the competition!

I rarely ever burned candles. I had tried many and was always disappointed. When you burned them. they never smelled as good as they did in the jar. Then a few months after I had moved to Arizona, this was the mid 90's. I met a neighbor that was having a candle party. I thought, what a great opportunity to meet new people! I decided to go, with no intention of actually buying any candles since I never found any I was happy with.

The moment my neighbor opened her door, all I could smell was Butter Cream frosting! All I could think, was what a great baker she must be, and wheres the cake! As she led me to the kitchen I noticed she had about 40 candles on the counter. She handed me a small sack of coffee beans and told me to go ahead and smell the merchandise. There were about 20 or so women all oohing and ahhing over the candles. Most them had their hands full of candles, every size and scent. I couldn't help but think, "what did she put in the coffee!"

I decided to make some small talk before I smelled the candles. We started talking and I asked her what she had baked that evening since her house smelled so wonderful and there was no cake in sight. She just laughed and told me her husband asked her the same thing the first time she burned her Gold Canyon Sugar Cookie candle. She showed me the unlit Sugar Cookie candle she had on the counter and told me to smell it. Sure enough, it smelled exactly like it burned...delicious! I noticed the candles had 2 wicks each, she said that was for better scent throw.

I immediately started to smell the candles and soon I looked just like the rest of the woman I commented on when I first walked in....hands full and oohing and ahhing! That night changed my life. I walked away loving Gold Canyon candles and completely hooked on them! I have not found another candle yet that can compare to Gold Canyon.

That night I also walked out the door with 2 of my all time favorite scents...

Fresh Orange.....this smells exactly like you just peeled a sweet ripe orange.
